In this concept, i write a topic in turkish at first. Then i translate that topic to english without looking to the dictionary or cheating. I’m aware of that i make many mistakes so i try to edit them 1 or 2 times. You will see the example below. I’d be glad if you correct any of my mistakes.
Architecture vs Internal Architecture
Even if i’m embarrassed from this memory, i am still going to tell it. I was going 1st grade or 2nd grade of high school. At that time i would decide between architecture and civil engineering. I didn’t event consider another major.
At that time; we were searching the majors from thick brochure. While i was digging the brochure i saw a major which is internal architecture. If there is a major like this, there has to be an external architecture which we call architecture. I thought one of them works in homeland other works in abroad. It was very hard for me to work in abroad so i chose the internal one. I was around 15 years old when i thought this. Now i’m thinking that; how can a teenager knows that which major is for what? Unfortunately it’s still same. We should come together who works in different areas and tell the kids what we do in our jobs detailly. And in this way they will choose the best major for themselves.
Architecture vs interior architecture
Although i’m ashamed of this moment, i will tell it. I was going 1st or 2nd grade of high school. At that time, I would make a choice between department of architecture and civil engineering. I didn’t think any other department.
At that time there were thick booklets for choosing the department. I saw the department of interior architecture and thought i found my department. Then i thought that if there is an interior architecture, there has to be an external architecture too. But external arthitecture wasn’t suitable for me because living abroad is very difficult for me. I thought; interior architects work in home town (Turkey). External architects work in abroad. Now i consider that; how 15-16 year old child can know that which department works how. Unfortunaltey, today it’s still same. If we come together in diferent professions and tell the teenagers details of the departments. In this way, they can choose their department better.
Architecture vs interior architecture
Although i’m embarrassed of this moment, i’ll write about it. I was in 1st or 2nd grade of high school. At that time, I needed to make a choice between department of architecture and civil engineering. I didn’t consider any other department.
At that time there were thick information booklets for helping to choose the department. I saw the department of interior architecture and thought i had found my department. Then i thought that if there was an interior architecture, there has to be external architecture too. I thought interior architects work locally and external architects work abroad. But external arthitecture wasn’t suitable for me because living abroad is very difficult for me
Now that i think about it how can 15-16 year old child know how that department works ?
Unfortunaltey, today it’s still the same. If we come together from diferent professions and explain teenagers the details of the departments, they are better able to choose their department.
